  1. Several years ago when you did a craft show in Syracuse NY, I purchased your wooden bowl wax. It is terrific and I would like to purchase more. Please let me know I can do that. Great products you have which show how talented you are and what pride in your work. Thank you.

    1. Thank you. I thought I still had bowl wax in our Etsy shop. I will double check and will add it today. Take a look later in the day and it should be there!

  2. Last week I was at the Miller’s Thumb in Greensboro and after a lot of hemming and hawing, finally decided on a color and bought of skein of your Painted Mohair 2-ply blend. I would have bought more of this gloriously silky blend if there had been more than one skein available, but there wasn’t. The color is either Zeke0001 (from the front of the label) or ETHO ET 0007 (from the back of the label). Any chance you have more of this color way? Does it coordinate with the Teal Boucle you have on Etsy? Any more color ways coming soon in the blend or the boucle? Great hand!

  3. I received Island Sunset Painted Mohair 250 yards brushed mohair. I was wondering how many oz that would be as I am trying to figure out if I need more yarn. Recd 2/250 yard but need 7 oz for my project.
If I do need more how can I order more of this lot. Zeke0003 with 062912 on back. Thanks so much for your help.

    1. Each skein should be about 3.6 ounces – give or take a wee bit. Sounds like you may have enough. I will also check to see if I have another skein. Just in case.

  4. Hello Jim,
I just wanted to let you know that the wrist distaff that I purchased for my friend as a birthday present at the MA Sheep and Wool Festival on May 24, 2014 is a resounding success!! My friend tells me she now can’t live without it!
Thank you for helping me make her a happy spinner.
    All the best,
    Deb

  5. > Stopped by your booth at craft show today. You do not have gift certificates, wanting to give one to my cousin for Christmas.
    > Do you accept MasterCard or Visa for purchases on your ETSY Shop link? I could give her one of these pre-paid “gift cards” to use at your ESTY Shop & direct her to your website to redeem for whatever she may need.

  6. I purchased 2 skeins of your brushed mohair / merino blend at the VT Sheep Fest. Before I start my project I really think I need another skein of each. Do you have these colors available? —
golden brown, front tag # ZEKE0006E back of tag-11201(3?)(2?)
dark hunter green, front tag # ZEKE0006J back of tag 082013
This is a wonderful yarn and I hope I don’t have to wait until next year to use it!
    Thanks very much. Paula

  7. Hi Jim,
I met you at the St Mike’s Craft show. I mentioned that the museum likes to have artisan displays at some of our events.
This May 10 is our season opening event and I am hoping that you might be free that day and would like to show off some of your drop spindles and other wares.
If you know of anyone in you Grand Isle Art Works that might be interested. Please let me know.
We primarily showcase Ethan Allen’s last home and how it might have looked in about 1787. We like to showcase crafts that might have been used for life at that time, so spinners, weavers, etc draw special interest.
Just a thought, but you might get some interest in your drop spindles. I believe that some may be selling small items on site.

You may reach me through email, pldrury@gmail.com or by phone. 802 878-8218

Our executive director is Corbett Torrence. He can be reached at the museum 802 865-4556 or check out our web site http://www.ethanallenhomestead.org

  8. I purchased some of your wonderful yarns at a shop in North Hero and did not get enough unfortunately. Could you let me know if you can send me 2 skeins of moss green brushed mohair ZEKE0006j and 1 skein of 092013 raspberry. if you have them. If not, could I have that amount of each in whatever dye lot you have.
    Thanks so much.

  9. I’d like to purchase one of the yarn bowls you had on display at the sheep and wool festival in Tunbridge. Do you have any? Could you email me if you do.
    Thanks!
    Meg

    1. Hi Meg,
Jim is busy making more. All that you saw have been sold. He will be working on one Saturday. We will put it up in our Etsy shop when finished. Hope that can work for you.

  10. Hello ! I purchased some of your delphinium boucle yarn at Rhinebeck . I think that I’m going to need another skein to finish my project. Do you have another that I can purchase? If so, how can I arrange payment? Thank you! Nancy
